Family Workout of the Week

WOW! We know time is of the essence and we have found a great way to get the family together to exercise and form healthy habits while having fun. Check us out every Friday as you head into the weekend for an awesome workout and a great family bonding experience. Tell us your family's favorite exercises and we'll incorporate them into future workouts.

Two of my favorite things about exercise are family and creativity.  I love writing workouts that are fun and challenging while at the same time involving my family.  Since it is nice this weekend take your exercise outdoors and get creative.  Ask your kids for some of their favorite outdoor activities and design a custom workout.  It can be 5 minutes or 5 hours, that's the beauty of exercise, it is infinitely customizable.
Here is a den Daas family workout:
Our favorite exercises:
  • Liz: Play at the park on the bars
  • Jenny: Run
  • Nick: Push Ups and Burpees
  • Ethan: Jumping

Buy In - Run to the park (roughly 800 meters)
  • 39 push ups
  • 11 Burpees
  • 7 down and back monkey bars (each drop is 4 jump squats)
  • 4 box jumps to broad jumps
Buy Out - Run home (800 meters)
